Script-Breaker, we’ve all been there.

You’re innocently scrolling through Instagram, minding your business, and BAM!

An old photo of your ex pops up.

You squint, you zoom in, and a question hits you harder than a surprise bill: "Why did I even like you?"

It’s a question that feels petty, but it’s actually one of the best moments of clarity.

It’s like when you try on that dress you loved last season and realize it just doesn’t fit anymore.

But here’s the kicker: according to the experts, your brain is already working on finding your next ex… who looks and acts exactly the same.

Yes, darling, we have a "dating type," and no matter how much we swear we're done with a certain kind of drama, our subconscious has other plans.

It’s like a record with a groove worn so deep, you just can't play a different song.

That toxic ex, that emotionally unavailable guy—they left an imprint, and your brain is convinced you need to find a way to "heal" those past wounds by repeating them.

It's the most tragic kind of recycling.

So, how do we break the cycle of dating the same person with a different name?

You don't get a new type by swiping left on a few bad dates.

You get a new type by doing the inner work.

This is where it gets real.

Ashlee Shares: Unexpected Dating Protocols, created as you can guess by now by our fave author and journalist Ashlee,  isn't just a guide to meeting someone new; it's a guide to becoming a new you.

It’s about facing the patterns that have kept you in unfulfilling relationships.

That fear you feel when a genuinely nice guy shows up?

That’s your mind trying to sabotage a healthy connection because it’s "uncomfortable."

The secret is to ask yourself if a person or situation feels familiar or uncomfortable.

If it's familiar—like a rerun of a show you already know ends badly—it’s time to change the channel.

The key to unlocking a healthier dating life is to heal and let go of  the past so you can create a new future.

Your dating history isn't a life sentence. It’s a lesson.

And this book is the blueprint for a love life that feels like a fabulous, brand-new outfit, not a worn-out old t-shirt.

You know you need it.

 Until Next Time….
