Bonjour, Script-Breakers!

The Revel Belle here and I have the hottest update from the book Play Me!

Spotted: a tale of two friends, Lana F. and Andre A., at the airport.

It seems Dre’s  two-month business trip to the Big Apple is putting their "inseparable" status to the ultimate test.

But let's be real, we've all seen this story before.

A friendship so close it's practically a marriage, complete with old-couple banter, constant contact threats, and secret forehead kisses.

The only question is, why are they pretending it's just a friendship.

Take a look at the following scene and judge for yourself if this doesn’t just scream Pining!

The airport terminal was a scene of barely controlled chaos.

The air thrummed with a palpable buzz, mirroring the frenetic energy within.

Amidst it all, Lana hugged Dre tightly, a silent promise passing between them as she jokingly threatened him with bodily harm if he didn’t call and message her daily.

In response, he laughed, pulling her in closer.

“You know I will. You'll probably get sick of hearing from me.” He said, kissing her forehead.

They stood there for a moment longer, wrapped in each other's arms, the bustling airport fading into the background…

Even their long-suffering friend, Celia, could see how they were drawn together by an invisible force, their hands already intertwined like magnets.

When the announcement for Dre's flight sounded, Lana's stomach dropped.

She'd known this was coming, but the reality of his departure felt like a crushing blow.

He squeezed her hand, his touch lingering, and as she watched him walk away, her heart ached with every step.

“This time apart will help you sort out your feelings for him much better. Trust me,” Celia, ever the shrewd friend, said gently.

Well, Script-Breakers, what do you think?

Is this the moment Lana finally admits her feelings?

Will a little distance make her heart grow fonder? Or will it be a case of "out of sight, out of mind"?

You know you can't resist a good secret.

Ready to get tangled up in this web of secrets and undeniable chemistry?
