Author and creative entrepreneur Ashlee Cox chronicles the day she was triggered by her struggles with money, failure, self image and emotional spiralling, along with the bold decision that changed her life. When her raging limiting beliefs around what could be possible for her life and business are fuelled to chaotic heights by an injection of too much caffeine, Ashlee, a Barbadian online entrepreneur is determined to finally put the painful ghouls of her past failures to rest. She spends a chaotic twenty four hours locked in a relentless battle against her insecurities, doubts and her failures and against all the odds, cracks the code to the mystery of how to unlock her success. Many people dream of creating a thriving dream business and living the life they absolutely love, but few people are willing to face their doubts, heal their emotional wounds and expand their capacity for progress to actually pull it off. This story combines a hilarious take on caffeine sensitivity with a deeply raw reveal around the struggles of dream building. Filled with practical advice, compelling personal anecdotes and insights into beginning the healing process towards forgiveness and self acceptance, The Ashlee Chronicles’ The One With The Strong Coffee, starkly describes Ashlee’s emotions of being overwhelmed by her darkest thoughts, the pain of continued sales failure and the desperate need to finally succeed in her business, while feeling overstimulated and out of control as she works on making her dreams an abundant reality. Within my book, The One With The Strong Coffee , I describe how a normal day that went off the rails forced me to take stock of myself, my thoughts, and what I genuinely believed was possible for me. It was rough but ultimately necessary. I share the techniques, insights and new perspectives that finally allowed me to pivot away from the crushing pressure of feeling like a complete failure, to seeing the strength and inevitability of success through taking better care of myself. May this book and all the insights, experiences and techniques within support, enrich and be a healing part of your journey. In the book I explore: Experiencing caffeine sensitivity for the first time, including the activities that one should not attempt in that state. How your perception of failure and beliefs around getting the desired results affect your life. ( for example: moving through perceived failure and reaffirming to moving towards what you desire and believe is possible for you) Exploring your relationship with money, including how you view it, how you think it views you and how it all impacts on your relationships and self -worth. Giving yourself permission to introspect, to face your doubts and insecurities as well as allowing yourself to feel safe with desires, dreams and progress towards receiving your goals. Being the exception for the rule and learning to love yourself as is. When your back is against the wall, do you default to the belief that this must mean failure for you, or do you believe you can achieve what you want if you keep going? I go deep into the experiences and show how I found a new way into being, thinking, living, earning, receiving and doing. I can’t wait to share it with you!
