I’m a Ghosting,Editing Gremlin, Look Away

Okay, besties, gather 'round because we need to talk about something that's been… consuming me.
And by consuming, I mean it has fully taken over my brain, my waking hours, and probably 80% of my dreams.
You know that feeling when you're so deep into a K-pop comeback, you forget to eat, sleep, and respond to basic human communication?
Yeah? Multiply that by a THOUSAND.
Because that's currently my life, except instead of a new Stray Kids album—though that is apparently on the horizon (OMG)—it's my new book.
And look, I'm just gonna say it: I have officially ghosted my entire social circle because of this damn book.
I know it’s ironic, considering the previous posts I wrote on this topic, but hear me out!
The "Why Is My Phone Glaring at Me?" Stage
The I.G DMs. Oh god, the messages.
My account is basically a neglected pet at this point, whimpering in the corner.
My friends are sending me, "Hey, did you remember to hydrate today?" "Are you alive?" "Did you fall into a plot hole?" 😂 To which my writer brain immediately responds with, "PLOT HOLE! What a great metaphor! I should use that in chapter 7!" and promptly forgets to respond.
My friends are probably forming search parties.
Please don’t—I'm not ignoring them on purpose!
It's just… my characters are having a crisis, and frankly, their drama is more pressing than deciding where to get brunch.
My MC just got pushed out of his hotel room by a mysterious flood, okay?!
That's a real emergency!
The "Who Needs Sunlight When You Have Word Count?" Phase
My Vitamin D levels are probably at an all-time low, but my word count?
BABY, IT'S SOARING! 📈
