Day 1 (Sunday): Maze Mania!

Your mission is to successfully navigate the most challenging out of the eight mazes to be found in The Chase Activity Book and reach the finish point.( You get to decide which maze that is for you!)

 This intricate labyrinth will put your navigation skills to the test as you twist, turn and search for the elusive exit, but all you’ll need is a pencil, an eraser and of course your own copy of The Chase Activity Book, but for an added twist, consider using colored pencils or markers to decorate your completed maze and make it a unique work of art. 

Take your time and don’t give up! 

If you're feeling extra adventurous, here’s an Extra Challenge: try timing yourself to see how quickly you can complete the maze.

You can also challenge friends and family to see who can conquer the maze the fastest.

After completing the activity, take a moment to reflect on the experience.

Day 2 (Monday): Wordsmith Wonders!

Your mission is to dive headfirst into a sea of letters and embark on a thrilling world search puzzle! 

The Chase Activity Book offers two world searches and two crossword puzzles for you to choose from. 

Are you ready to sharpen your focus and put your vocabulary to the test as you scour the grid for all the concealed words? 

If you are, then prepare yourself for an exhilarating word-hunting adventure and gather your tools – a sharp pencil, an eraser, The Chase Activity Book, a keen eye, and an unwavering determination – and get ready to unleash your inner word detective.

When you’ve finished this activity, take a picture and share it to Instagram and X with the hashtag #TheChaseWordSmith.

If you’re feeling extra creative, craft a visual representation of your favorite word. 

This could be a drawing, a collage, or even a short poem.

Day 3 (Tuesday): Design Your Own Chaser Trap!

Your mission today is to design your own ingenious trap to outsmart Chaser in a safe and effective way. 

This mission will encourage you to get resourceful and think outside of the box, so that the trap is not only safe for both Chaser and any humans, but also other animals. 

No sharp objects or harmful substances allowed. 

Think about Chaser’s strengths and weaknesses as you design the trap.

 He is incredibly intelligent and agile, so your trap needs to be clever and well-executed to stand a chance! 

Within The Chase Challenge Activity Book, there is a section just for this challenge that will guide you step-by-step throughout the process. 

Ideas to Get You Started:

• The Lure: What will tempt Chaser into your trap? Think about his favorite toys, treats, or scents.
• The Mechanism: How will your trap capture Chaser once he's inside? Consider using doors, gates, or other barriers that can be triggered remotely or by Chaser's own movements.
• The Escape-Proof Design: How will you prevent Chaser from escaping once he's caught? Make sure your trap is secure and escape-proof.

Let’s reflect on your trap using this Criteria:

• Ingenuity: How creative and original is your trap design?
• Effectiveness: How well does your trap work?
• Safety: How safe is your trap for Chaser and others?

Day 4 (Wednesday): Storyteller Supreme!

Let’s dive back into the thrilling world of “The Chase”!

Today, your mission is to pick up the narrative threads found in The Chase Challenge Activity Book and weave your own continuation.

Write a short story or a scene and share it with us on Instagram and X (formerly Twitter) using the hashtag #TheChaseStoryteller.

 Here are a few ideas to spark your creativity:

• Short Story: Craft a complete short story that delves into the aftermath of the cliffhanger ending. Explore the consequences of the characters' choices, introduce new challenges, and resolve lingering conflicts.
• Scene:  Write a vivid scene that captures a pivotal moment in the story's progression. Focus on building tension, revealing character development, and advancing the plot.
• Character Deep Dive: Choose a character from "The Chase" and write a scene or short story that delves into their backstory, motivations, or relationships with other characters.
• Alternate Ending: Reimagine the ending of "The Chase." Explore what might have happened if different choices were made or events unfolded in an unexpected way.
• Genre Twist:  Put a creative spin on the story by incorporating elements of a different genre. What if "The Chase" became a science fiction thriller or a fantasy adventure?

Day 5 (Thursday): Artistic Adventures!

Today, we're diving deep into the whimsical world of "The Chase" and unleashing our inner artists!

Draw your favorite scene from "The Chase" as suggested in The Chase Challenge Activity Book or create your own hilarious chase scene. 

Below I’ll share with you some Drawing Challenges as well just for you!

Option 1: Scene Recreation

Choose your absolute favorite scene from "The Chase" and bring it to life on paper!

 Capture the hilarious chaos, the dramatic expressions, and the sheer absurdity of the chase in your drawing.

 Pay close attention to the details that make the scene so memorable. 

 To help you get started, consider these elements:

• Characters: Who are the main characters in your chosen scene? Focus on their facial expressions, body language, and how they interact with each other.
• Setting: Where is the chase taking place? Is it a busy city street, a quiet park, or somewhere else entirely? Add details to the background to bring your scene to life!
• Action: What's happening in the chase? Is someone tripping, falling, or causing mayhem? Capture the movement and energy of the scene in your drawing.
• Humor: What makes the scene funny? Exaggerate certain elements or add your own comedic touches to make your drawing even more hilarious.

Option 2: Original Chase Scene

• Let your imagination run wild and create your own side-splitting chase scene! Who's chasing who? Why are they chasing them? Where is the chase taking place? What hilarious obstacles and mishaps do they encounter along the way?

The possibilities are endless! Here are some ideas to spark your creativity:

• Unusual Characters: Instead of humans, maybe animals, aliens, or even inanimate objects are involved in the chase.
• Zany Vehicles: Think beyond cars and bikes! Maybe the characters are chasing each other on roller skates, pogo sticks, or even giant inflatable swans.
• Unexpected Twists: What if the chaser and the chased accidentally switch roles? Or what if the chase leads them to a hidden treasure or a magical portal?
• Environmental Chaos: Incorporate elements of the environment into the chase. Maybe a sudden rainstorm causes everyone to slip and slide, or a flock of pigeons creates a feathery distraction.

Feel free to use any art materials you like! Pencils, crayons, markers, paints, digital art – it's all up to you!

• Coloring: Add vibrant colors to make your artwork pop!
• Mixed Media: Combine different materials and techniques for a unique effect.

Bonus Activity: Collaborative Chase Mural

Get together with friends or family and create a giant collaborative chase mural!

Each person can draw their own chase scene on a large sheet of paper or cardboard.

Then, connect the scenes together to create one epic and hilarious chase.

Day 6 (Friday): Character Chronicles!

Dive deep into the world of Speedo or Chaser!

 Choose one of these vibrant characters and imagine a day in the life to craft a captivating diary entry from their unique perspective.

You can find this challenge within The Chase Challenge Activity Book.

Below are some options: 

• Option 1: Speedo's Diary

Capture Speedo's whirlwind energy and zest for life!

 His diary entry might be filled with humorous anecdotes, tales of daring adventures, and perhaps a hint of his secret fears and vulnerabilities.

• Option 2: Chaser's Diary

Explore Chaser's introspective and thoughtful nature.

  His diary entry could reveal his inner struggles, his observations of the world around him, and his dreams for the future.

Remember to:

• Use vivid language and imagery to bring your chosen character to life
• Infuse the diary entry with the character's unique voice and personality
• Share your completed Character Chronicle with #TheChaseCharacterChronicles to connect with other fans and creators!

Day 7 (Saturday): Ultimate Chase Fan!

It's the final day of our challenge week, and we're celebrating everyone who joined us on this wild adventure!

Today's challenge is all about sharing your love for "The Chase."

Here's what you can do:

• Share your favorite character: Is it the mischievous Speedo, the grumpy Chaser, or maybe one of the quirky supporting characters? Tell us why you love them and what makes them special.
• Describe your favorite scene: Was it a hilarious chase scene, a heartwarming moment, or a suspenseful encounter? Relive the excitement and tell us why that scene stood out to you.
• Quote your favorite line: Did a particular line from the book make you laugh, think, or feel inspired? Share the quote and explain why it resonated with you.
• Share your overall thoughts: What did you love most about "The Chase"? Was it the humor, the adventure, the characters, or the message? Tell us what made this story special for you.
• Get creative: Express your love for "The Chase" through art, music, or any other creative medium you enjoy! Draw a picture, write a song, or even create a short skit.
