A Low-Stakes Manifestation Experiment I’m Trying TODAY ✨

Okay, Ashlee Shares fam. 


Let's talk about the "woo" for a minute.


If you’re a creative entrepreneur, you’ve probably dabbled in manifestation.


 Vision boards, affirmations, the works.


 But sometimes, it can feel overwhelming, or worse, like this mythical thing that only works for certain people. 


I'm always looking for ways to demystify the process and bring it back down to earth so I won’t feel like there is yet another thing that isn’t working as it should- IYKYK.


That’s why I’m exploring this video today—because it promises PROOF by tonight. 


I'm so curious to see if this little exercise actually works, especially since I’d done something similar months ago with blue butterflies (which I still see sometimes lol).


The video is: "I Will Show You PROOF Your Manifestation Is Working | You Will See It By Tonight ✨" by Mary Kate.


The whole premise is that we often have too much resistance around big goals (money, clients, etc.) which prevents us from receiving them. 


So, the key is to manifest something small, neutral, and easy to prove the concept, then build from there.


I'm officially accepting the challenge.

The 3-Step Manifestation Activation


Mary Kate, breaks manifestation down into a powerful three-part system: Be, Think, Operate.


 She says if you shift one, the others follow.


Step 1: The Symbol & The Being (EASE)


To keep it low-stakes and resistance-free, she assigns us a neutral symbol: STARS .


The Vibe Shift: You need to adopt the state of Being at Ease around stars .


You're not desperate, you don't really care, you're just chill about it.


This is key—that sweet spot of indifference and expectation.


Step 2: The Thinking (CONSISTENCY)


The Affirmation: Your one job is to consistently think: "I always see evidence of stars. It's easy and obvious."


She suggests repeating this thought 3-5 times a few times throughout the day (morning, lunch, bedtime), just enough to program your brain’s Reticular Activating System (RAS) . I’m setting my alarms right now.


Step 3: The Operating (LOOK AROUND!)


The Action: The final step is simply to act as if seeing a star is certain, not just possible.


 This is the fun part: You have to be on the lookout!


She notes that the star can be subtle—on TV, a piece of jewelry, a sticker, or even a tiny piece of confetti on the ground.


Yes you can just wait to see the stars in the sky tonight, if you’re one of the lucky ones who can still see the sky, but where’s the fun in that?


My Exploration Intention


I’m going to spend the rest of my day actively going through these three steps. 


I’m chilling my energy about the outcome, repeating the thought, and consciously getting off my phone and looking at the world around me.


I am genuinely curious if, by the time I wind down tonight, I’ll spot a star symbol outside of the obvious night sky. 


My logical brain is telling me my best bet would be on TV, but hey,  this isn't for logic, this is for wonder and so anything can happen!
